The Pre-licensing course can be taken either in a classroom or through distance learning/virtual classes. If you opt for the classroom version, then you will receive an MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. Whatever Driving Instructor Training choose to take all courses follow the same curriculum content. Once you successfully complete your course, the provider will report your achievement to the DMV automatically and you won't require the certificate at the time of taking the driver's test.
